Akea Gealon

Player Bio

Akea Gealon is a dynamic Middle Blocker with nearly a decade of competitive indoor volleyball experience, having begun his volleyball journey at the age of 12.

Known for his strong presence at the net, athleticism, and high volleyball IQ, Akea has earned multiple All-Tournament selections and MVP awards throughout his career.

He competed on the varsity volleyball team at Mira Costa High School for all four years, excelling within one of the region's most competitive volleyball programs. His success as a Middle Blocker reflects his discipline, consistency, and ability to perform at an elite level.

Akea is also an accomplished dual-sport athlete who competed in football as both a Wide Receiver and Quarterback. His football background helped develop the explosiveness, leadership, agility, and competitive mindset that translate directly to his success on the volleyball court.

With a strong work ethic and passion for the game, Akea continues pursuing opportunities to compete internationally while bringing intensity, versatility, and dedication to every team he joins.
