Cash James Remington
Player Bio
Cash Remington is a 6'3" Outside Hitter from Fort Myers, Florida. Due to the limited opportunities for boys volleyball in Southwest Florida, Cash relocated approximately two and a half hours away to Fort Lauderdale to pursue high-level competition with Cardinal Gibbons High School and Ocean Bay Volleyball Club under the direction of Coach Mike Zarate.
His dedication and commitment to the sport earned him significant recognition during the 2026 season. Cash was named the 2026 Sun Sentinel Broward County Boys Volleyball Player of the Year and was selected as the AVCA National High School Boys Volleyball Player of the Week – South Region for the week of April 13, 2026.
As a leader for Cardinal Gibbons, Cash helped guide his team to the 2026 FHSAA Class 1A State Semifinals. Nationally, MaxPreps ranked him as high as #8 in the nation and #1 in Florida for aces with 84. He was also ranked #23 nationally and #5 in Florida for kills with 439 while hitting .315 on the season.
Cash is committed to King University and will begin his collegiate career in Fall 2026. His long-term goal is to play professional volleyball following college.
Volleyball runs in the family, as his sister and technical coach, Alayna Ryan, competed in both indoor and beach volleyball at Florida Gulf Coast University from 2017–2021.
