Champions Unlimited Announces International Training Delegations for Slovenia Global Challenge
24-Man College-Age Roster and 12-Man High School Roster to Train and Compete in Europe Under Coach Alan Knipe
Irvine, California — Champions Unlimited today announced the formation of two international training delegations that will travel to Slovenia this summer for a high-performance training and competition block culminating in the Global Challenge in Maribor.
The program includes a 24-athlete college-age roster and a 12-athlete high school roster, each built to provide a structured international training experience modeled after professional and national-team style travel — focused on standards, development, and competition.
College-Age Delegation — Southern California Training + Europe
Champions Unlimited’s college-age delegation will consist of a 24-man roster training in Orange County, California from July 10–13 at Golden West College, prior to international departure. The group will depart on July 14 and will be in Europe from July 15–25, training and competing against high-level international opposition in preparation for the Global Challenge.
The delegation will be led by Coach Alan Knipe, with Assistant Coaches Tim Johnson and Donald Suxho. Neil Mason will serve as Team General Manager.
This group is designed for college and college-bound athletes seeking an accelerated development window, international reps, and a structured program environment heading into the next competitive season.
High School Delegation — Meet in Europe + Global Challenge
Champions Unlimited will also field a 12-athlete high school delegation that will meet directly in Europe for a 10-day high-performance training camp and international competition experience.
This delegation will be led by Coach Alan Knipe, with Associate Coaches Cam Green, Donald Suxho, and Tim Johnson, and Neil Mason serving as Team General Manager.
The high school delegation will train and compete in Slovenia and participate in the Global Challenge in Maribor, providing athletes with elite coaching, international exposure, and a professional training environment.
Building a Standard for International Development
Champions Unlimited’s international programming is designed to expand the athlete pathway through structured development, global competition, and mentorship. Both delegations will train in an environment emphasizing discipline, clarity, and team culture — creating an international experience that athletes can carry back into their home seasons.
Roster Announcements Forthcoming
Champions Unlimited will announce full rosters for both delegations, including athlete names and positions, in a forthcoming release.
